Q&A with Tammy Chambers

1. 1. Tell us a bit about you and your practice.

   I have experienced lots of front-loaded trauma in this lifetime. I have learned a multitude of lessons through relationships with psychopaths, sociopaths, covert narcissists, malevolent and benevolent narcissists, and many other personality disorders that made life more challenging. I have been in many abusive situations as a child and in early romantic relationships that have shaped my healing journey. Two great pieces of advice I learned from the movie Black Widow were, "Your pain only makes you stronger" and "Never let them take your heart." Those two quotes, which I heard after my healing journey, sum up what I experienced and what led me to want to help others in my practice to overcome their own trauma. I have been using my gifts to read people from a very young age solely for survival. Over the last twenty years, I learned to hone my abilities to provide intuitive coaching and energy healing to help others heal from their own traumas. I added Tarot and psychic medium readings as well as my gifts evolved to help provide the best modalities for my clients.

   I strive to help women and men create a fulfilling life by examining their choices and determining which ones brought positive outcomes and which ones brought negative ones. Once you view your life through that lens, you can begin creating a life worth living. My goal in my practice is to help you determine what works in your life and what needs to exit. Sometimes these are habits, but other times you may uncover toxic people who need less access to you or none at all. No matter what your healing journey brings, my role is to support you through it all. We will work together to bring clarity and to zoom out so you can see the whole picture and determine what you want that to look like. You are the author of your story and the main character. Together, we can chart a course to create the life of your dreams. Tully C. Knoles has a great quote about this path: "The greatest thing about a woman is her ability to transcend herself, her ancestry, and her environment and to become what she dreams of being." I have replaced the masculine terms with feminine ones because I find it more meaningful, but the path is the same. We are all here to write our own life stories. 2. 2. What moment or realization made astrology and/or tarot “click” for you in a real, lived way?

   One deep truth I have always known: your outer world reflects your inner world. Once you change your energy, you change your life. Each time we are in a moment where we do not know how to process our emotions, we can trap those emotions in our bodies. They can show up in health issues or the inability to face obstacles. Early experiences can change our behavior and make difficult conversations, which can be healing and meaningful, absolutely unbearable.

3. 3. What’s something most people misunderstand about astrology and/or tarot that you’re always gently correcting?

   Sometimes people are concerned they will open themselves up to negative entities or even demonic possession through seeking support in astrology, tarot, or healing modalities that are spiritual in nature. There have been lots of people spreading fear-based warnings to discourage us all from finding our purpose, love, or healing from ailments. To those who follow Abrahamic Religions, I ask them what they believe it means to be "made in the image and likeness of God." To me, it means God is in me, and I have been given the tools to create and heal just like He taught. For those who do not believe in that religion, I ask them to see if what I say resonates with them. Does my guidance support you in living a more fulfilling life? If you find my words speak to the truth of your life and help you along your path, welcome. If not, move along and find what aligns with you. I am not here to convince anyone, but I find it important to speak my truth and share my thoughts with anyone with genuine curiosity.

4. 4. Tell us your thoughts on the astrology of 2026 and how it’s likely showing up in people’s everyday lives right now.

   The Year of the Fire Horse has positively influenced me personally and professionally. In Chinese astrology, the horse symbolizes movement, freedom, and action. Additionally, the added Fire element brings passion, intensity, and rapid transformation. I can feel the amplification of my own emotions, desires, and ambitions because nothing stays neutral this year. I have seen profound, rapid life shifts and turning points already and much karmic acceleration through quicker manifestations and clearer truths. If you have been stuck in a stagnant relationship, limiting career, or outdated identities—now is your time to break free and tap into this powerful energetic stream. I encourage you to move with awareness and aligned action during this year. I hope you say yes to expansion and release what feels forced. I am sending you all clarity before you engage in momentum and effortless luck along your way.

5. 5. What’s a recurring life theme you see in your readings right now (love, career pivots, endings, rebirth, boundaries), and how do you help people work with it instead of resisting it?

   I am seeing a rise in Matriarchal beliefs and the fall of the Patriarchy that we as a society are moving through right now. More and more women are realizing their relationships are one-sided, with the majority of the work to raise children and take care of the home resting solely on them because they are female.

   Now that women have careers of their own, they deserve more balance in duties at home. Women have taken on jobs and made ourselves a dominant force in the workplace, but men have not stepped up to balance out the duties at home. This leads to more divorces, and men must start taking care of their single-parent homes on their own. I have helped many women through this transition. I find intuitive coaching can be very supportive to help women gain the tools they need to move through the toxicity more seamlessly, or Reiki/Energy Healing if they are struggling to let go of the toxic connection. I had both through my own divorce, and they helped me tremendously, which has led me to do the same for others.

6. 6. When someone comes to you feeling stuck, what part of the chart do you look at first and why? If you do tarot or another practice, tell us about your process for this.

   When someone is feeling stuck in their life, I usually recommend stillness for clarity. I find that when you sit in silence, you give your mind time and space to allow the answers to flow. Sometimes, a guided meditation that helps you get back into your body will also help slow your mind from racing so the answers may come through. You may also use some instrumental music or nature sounds to help you relax into stillness. No matter what you find works best to get to stillness, that is where the solution will arise.

   Sometimes we also arrive at a time of waiting and inner reflection, which is called the Hermit Mode in the Tarot. You may believe you are stuck if you do not listen to your inner knowing. During this time, you may need to wait in stillness over time until the answer is revealed to you. I always trust that everything falls into place at the perfect time and all things work together for my good. No matter what I see, I know whatever is happening, both good or bad, is what is best for me to attract my highest and best. Sometimes you do not need the voices of your mentors to guide you. You must sit and let your internal navigation system lead the way. Trust that you know what is best. Your own intuition is always the best guide for your journey. Even when you request support, sit and ask yourself if the advice feels right for you. Your own intuition will show you the next step along your journey. Trust the illuminated next step and know that when the time is right, the next one will be shown to you. Feeling stuck is sometimes an invitation to slow down and let the universe guide you. If the answer has not come yet, you are not truly stuck. You are just not ready for your next move.

7. 7. When someone is trying to understand their love life more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

   When one seeks a partner, they must first accept that happiness comes from within, and there is no circumstance or person who can make you happy. People lie and tell themselves that when they make more money, they will be happy. Yet, some of the richest people in the world are still miserable. If it did not work for them, it will not work for you either. Money may make your life easier, but it will never be the sole factor in your happiness. Others say that when they have love, then they will be happy. However, even the best relationships bring challenges. Having a partner does not change your internal state of merriment. Of course, you will have moments that are joyful, but your overall happiness is not determined by your relationship status. Happiness is deeper than that.

   Moreover, you must understand that the true purpose of all relationships is to understand yourself more deeply. I have learned from Eckhart Tolle that relationships are designed to make us more conscious about ourselves instead of simply being here to make us happy. When I first read that, I was appalled. Then, the truth sank in deeply for me as a lover of personal growth over time. I was at a church service when a visiting pastor came to my pew to prophecy to me. He shared, “I know your marriage is not what you thought it would be, but God has you there for a reason.” I definitely learned so many lessons from that relationship about myself, my own family, and the growth a relationship can bring into your life. I filed for divorce a while after that moment, and I understood how the mirror of that relationship reflected parts of myself to help me achieve massive self-awareness and growth. When you look at relationships through that lens, you understand you may find happiness at times, but wholeness comes from what is revealed in hard times as well in the happiness.

   Once you find your own happiness, a love relationship can be truly possible and fulfilling. Until you have deeply met yourself, you will be unable to meet another person. Finding your happiness is a foundational step toward knowing and loving yourself wholly so you can reciprocate with your romantic partner. Love begins with self-love because you cannot love another more than you love yourself.

8. 8. When someone is trying to understand their career life or work/ purpose more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

   What activities give you more energy after you complete them than when you first started them? What do you do that brings you the most joy? When you can answer these questions, you are on the right path to finding out your purpose in life. Turning your purpose into a career or finding one that allows you to do similar activities that fulfil you is a great start. When you are lucky enough to align your career to your purpose, you will be more fulfilled, and time will literally fly by. The closer you get to truly defining that for yourself, the closer you will be to a more fulfilling life.

9. 9. What’s one small but meaningful practice or reflection you’d recommend people try based on their natal chart or reading?

   When you are searching for an answer, sometimes we believe we need to read a book or listen to a podcast, but specific answers are more easily found in stillness. Sometimes you may be led to another source, but most often the answer arises when you get quiet. I believe stillness is the time you will get the most accurate information for helping your life move forward. You can set an intention or write some questions before you meditate to ask for specific answers or you can ask for guidance from whatever higher power you choose to ask for support. You can also schedule a reading through Tarot, Astrology, or a Psychic to see if you are on the right track. Ask questions to see if what feels right for you is verified by another. I used this practice when I began my journey to help me get confirmation that my messages were aligned to my life. Sometimes it takes time to hone your intuition, but getting support will help you find your way.

10. 10. What are your favorite decks + resources that you think people should know about?

    Tarot cards are just a way for you to align your current energy with the cards that are an energetic match to you. My favorite deck for this purpose is the Tarot for Light Seers by Chris-Anne. I have the companion book as well, which has really helped me connect to the meaning of each individual card. I have used them so often that I can see the images come up when I am speaking with a client to help discern what they are most troubled by, even when I am not doing a reading. With Tarot, there are times when an image on the card is more important than the overall meaning of the card. This deck is exquisitely designed to bring out those specifications in the cards in this very way. Sometimes the story of the cards can flow through small elements in the drawings that are similar. There are so many avenues to connect the story in the images on the cards in this deck that make readings even more meaningful.
