About Me

Hi I'm Praxie. I fell in love with Astrology at 12, and have been passionately studying it ever since. Astrology to me is an ancient and beautiful language we can use to learn about our world and ourselves. While I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until I was an adult, I always found comfort is the way that Astrology seemed to validate me without judgement or criticism. Now that I better understand myself, Astrology has become my go to tool to discover the unmasked version that has been hiding away. I hope to offer that same level of clarity to anyone that seeks it, especially my Neurodiverse community.

Sessions

  • Natal Chart Reading

I use Natal Chart readings as a way to root out the person behind that mask, the person that was never meant to be hidden. This is a collaborative conversation, because just like social constructs, I have no business telling you who you are. I simply interpret the language, and open the door to the possibilities you are imbued with.

The power of validation, self-acceptance, and reclamation is seriously undervalued. My hope is that this reading offers you the first taste of it.

Natal Chart readings with me are performed virtually, where I ask you to come as you are and with anything you need to feel comfortable and ready to engage.

Before our call, you will need:

Your date of birth: Month, Day, and Year

Your time of birth: Hour, Minute, AM, or PM

Your location of birth: The city, the state, the province, and the country

Q&A with Praxie Osong

  1. 1. Tell us a bit about you and your practice.

I am a neurodivergent mom of 2 sweet littles. My background is in early childhood development and psychology. I started as a preschool teacher until wanderlust took me abroad to Au Pair and teach kindergarten English in Rome and Germany (hello sun in the 9th). Currently I am studying Neurodiversity and Applied Positive Psychology through the Positive Psychology Academy. I hope to gain my PhD in Ecology, Spirituality, and Mental Health at New Buckinghamshire University. My consulting business is Divergent by Design Co. I work as a Neurodivergent Operations Specialist for small bis owners, entre prenuers, and ND folks who just need a little more structure to actualize their visions.

My Astrology practice is ever evolving, but officially began about 10 years ago. I consider myself an Astrology student for life, so my practice changes as I learn. My current passion is giving clients much needed clarity, reassurance, empowerment, and validation, especially the late diagnosed neurodiverse. As one myself, I use astrology in so many ways to introspect, unmask, and heal. My preference is to take a holistic approach for every reading and encourage clients to come back for additional insight or support since I genuinely hate offering a service one time and being like "okay byeee!"

When I'm not escaping all the responsibilities of the material world (Pisces Moon, is that you?), I am probably in a foreign country, binge watching something with my partner, baking, or sleeping.

  2. 2. What moment or realization made astrology and/or tarot “click” for you in a real, lived way?

Astrology found me at 12 when I was checking my compatibility on yahoo.com with the current (at the time) love of my life. Shocker, a Cancer and Scorpio are basically soulmates. I was so spellbound by the interpretation, I began digging up information just about me. At that time, I was dealing with so many intense feelings of inadequacy, shame, and sensitivity, but here was this text that framed characteristics I identified with in such a sweet and endearing way that I couldn't help but feel a tinge of pride push past all that negativity. I felt seen and regarded in such a respectful and human way, a feeling I was not currently experiencing from the world around me. A few months later, I thrifted my first coveted astrology book by Linda Goodman, and became completely lost in her beautifully poetic insights. I haven't looked back since, and it is that experience I want to share with anyone new to astrology or needing that level of comfort.

  3. 3. What’s something most people misunderstand about astrology and/or tarot that you’re always gently correcting?

A lot actually. I think that people assume you are boxed in or labeled based on your Sun sign and that you are destined to exist in the static image of your natal chart, but it is much deeper and nuanced than that. But my biggest gripe has to be sun sign cusps. I also don't know that I *gently* correct it haha. I usually remind people that there are several reasons why you may identify with the sign before or after your Sun but the reality is that the Sun cannot exist in two places at once. There is usually a reason you feel this way, and this is coming from a former cusper!

  4. 4. Tell us your thoughts on the astrology of 2026 and how it’s likely showing up in people’s everyday lives right now.

Oof that's a loaded question. Geopolitically the last time Saturn and Neptune hooked up, a new world order was taking shape. Political entities all over the world were losing ground, or dissolving entirely. This time around in Aries, the air is more volatile (especially in the US), with the collective getting closer to class consciousness meaning that the establishments that currently exist will need to change or double down to contain. On the daily, this ties into the Solar and Lunar eclipses in Aquarius and Virgo, pushing us towards more of a collective mindset and one that is focused on well being. I think we're all a bit tired of being sold and want more authenticity in connection and consumption.

The ingress of Uranus into Gemini will heighten feelings it triggered last year with a growing exhaustion towards anti-intellectualism coupled with an increase in AI fanaticism (and misuse?). It links nicely with the themes above, with an added shock value around April. I think that energy will flow smoothly into the collective shift that the Solar and Lunar eclipses in Leo and Pisces towards the end of the year will evoke. It will signal us to be more creative, conform less, and seek more knowledge rooted in intuition and spirit.

  5. 5. What’s a recurring life theme you see in your readings right now (love, career pivots, endings, rebirth, boundaries), and how do you help people work with it instead of resisting it?

I see a lot of people searching for *something.* Actually, almost all of my clients come to me with a question they don't know they have. I always find myself saying this in readings: "some charts are going to show me a lot, and other charts are going to tell me one thing over and over in 5 different ways." I answer all questions the best I can, and there are times that a recurring theme wants to dominate the conversation. I often find that, that theme, is the question and answer all in one. My goal is to offer space to explore what insights it may ignite.

  6. 6. When someone comes to you feeling stuck, what part of the chart do you look at first and why? If you do tarot or another practice, tell us about your process for this.

I'm sure this is slightly unconventional but, that’s just how I work. I usually ask my clients to just talk to me and I let them know that I am fully listening but I'm going to be looking at their chart while they speak. When they are speaking I tend to see a pattern, or a source, or a story that kind of lights up in their chart. It's usually a few placements that do a "ding ding ding" like "hey, it's me, I'm the drama." So in short, there isn't always a single point that will absolutely be the source, I just don't believe humans work that way, and neither does Astrology, or not how I interpret it at least. Given that I especially like to hold space for neurodivergent individuals, personal context matters a lot and can shift the way placements manifest.

Astrology is cute and intersectional that way

  7. 7. When someone is trying to understand their love life more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

I'm looking at your Asc/DC axis, any 7th house placements, Venus, Libra, and Taurus. There's a story to put together about you alone, and you partnered.

  8. 8. When someone is trying to understand their career life or work/ purpose more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

I’m immediately sending them to Jo. But put me on the spot and I’d say: 2nd, 6th, 10th houses all matter, because we all unfortunately have to contribute to a capitalist society in order to survive. I'm also going to look at your nodes, and Sun because I also want your passions to have a moment.

  9. 9. What’s one small but meaningful practice or reflection you’d recommend people try based on their natal chart or reading?

This is for my Neurodivergent family but totally relevant for everyone. Lean into at least one strength unabashedly and outsource anywhere and way you can.

  10. 10. What are your favorite decks + resources that you think people should know about?

I love this question. The True Black Tarot is literally so damn gorgeous and I covet both decks (big props for its gender bending, too). Linda Goodman's Sun Signs (RIP to an absolute queen of Astrology), Steven Forrest’s the Changing Sky (I learned so much from his classes), and Chani Nicholas (making astrology mainstream again in the most intersectional, F the patriarchy way!)
