About Me

Hi I'm Martha! I've been practicing Reiki for nine years and I'm a Reiki Master, astrologer, and former massage therapist with a kinesiology degree. I work with people who feel something is off in their body or life and can't quite get to the bottom of it, or who've had sessions or readings that felt accurate but didn't actually move anything.

My work is Reiki, cord cutting, and astrology, and the reason they sit together is that they're all doing the same thing from different angles. The chart shows me where the tension is and gives you language for it. Reiki works with what the body is actually carrying. Cord cutting clears what's been draining you without you realizing it. Most people need more than one entry point, and part of what I do is figure out which one makes sense for where you are.

Everything I offer is distance based, no call required. You set an intention, rest in your own space, and I work during your scheduled window, sending you a full writeup of everything that came through. If we're doing a chart reading, you get a written PDF you can actually return to when something clicks later.

I built this practice around what I couldn't find when I needed it most. My sensitivity was never the problem, and I want to show you that yours isn't either.

Q&A with Martha Zawadzki

  1. 1. Tell us a bit about you and your practice.

My background started in massage therapy and kinesiology, which is where I first learned to understand the body. From there I found Reiki, and it became the thread that connected everything. Almost ten years later that thread has grown into a full practice rooted in energy work, evolutionary astrology, and intuitive guidance. Over the years I've studied across a lot of modalities and pulled together what actually works into something cohesive.

Astrology gave me a language I didn't know I was missing. What shows up as a blockage in a Reiki session often reflects what's already showing up in someone's chart, just spoken differently. I offer astrology readings, Reiki sessions, and cord cutting sessions. I also help clients build practices they can actually use in their everyday lives, not just when we're working together.

  2. 2. What moment or realization made astrology and/or tarot “click” for you in a real, lived way?

My Saturn return is when astrology actually became real to me. Everything hit at once during that time: the end of a long relationship, losing two jobs back to back, my health falling apart, a major friendship ending, and this persistent feeling that I was being pushed toward something I had to build myself. It was a lot to move through. Astrology kept giving it context in a way nothing else did, and what came out the other side was a more authentic, aware, and confident version of myself.

The piece that really stayed with me was finding out that my progressed Sun had moved into Pisces right around the time I turned 20. It was one of the most isolating and physically difficult periods of my life. It was also exactly when I was drawn into massage therapy and Reiki without fully understanding why. I found that out recently, years after the fact. It confirmed something I think I had already sensed but never had the language for.

  3. 3. What’s something most people misunderstand about astrology and/or tarot that you’re always gently correcting?

The things that scare people most in astrology tend to be exactly where the most growth is available. Fear-based astrology is everywhere right now and it creates a lot of unnecessary anxiety around what are actually some of the most important and transformative periods of a person's life.

What I try to offer instead is context. The chart isn't handing you a verdict. It's showing you what's asking to be worked with. Someone else's interpretation of your chart is just that, an interpretation. What resonates for you is always going to be more accurate than what someone projects onto you. That's also where Reiki becomes really useful, not just as an energetic practice but as a way to slow down, sit with yourself, and let the meaning find you rather than forcing it. A good practitioner helps you move what's been sitting there and understand it in a way that actually fits your life.

  4. 4. Tell us your thoughts on the astrology of 2026 and how it’s likely showing up in people’s everyday lives right now.

We're a few years into Pluto in Aquarius and the cracks in the old way of doing things are showing up everywhere. People are leaving jobs that don't mean anything to them, seeking out smaller communities, realizing that the structures they were handed were never really built around who they actually are. That restlessness is collective and it's been growing.

What 2026 adds to that is Saturn and Neptune both moving into Aries. After years of knowing what you want but not quite being able to reach it, there is finally some momentum available. Saturn in Aries rewards people who are willing to commit to something real. Neptune in Aries dissolves the gap between what people believe and how they actually live. A lot of people are going to find this year surprisingly clarifying.

  5. 5. What’s a recurring life theme you see in your readings right now (love, career pivots, endings, rebirth, boundaries), and how do you help people work with it instead of resisting it?

The theme I keep seeing lately is people looking for themselves in other people. It shows up in relationships, in friendships, in the way someone describes a conflict and you can hear that what's bothering them about the other person is actually something unresolved in themselves. It's not always obvious and it's never something I point to bluntly, but it's there consistently.

What I try to do in a reading when I see this pattern is help someone identify what they're reaching outward for and find where it actually lives in them. The version of a relationship you can have when you're not using someone else as a mirror is so much more authentic and sustainable. Awareness is usually where it starts, and once someone sees the pattern they can't really unsee it.

  6. 6. When someone comes to you feeling stuck, what part of the chart do you look at first and why? If you do tarot or another practice, tell us about your process for this.

The first thing I look at is the chart signature, the dominant and deficient elements, because that tells me immediately how someone is operating and where they might be working against themselves without realizing it. From there I follow the threads. A chart will say the same thing in multiple ways and my job is to find where those themes are loudest and bring them into focus. Feeling stuck rarely has one cause and the chart usually makes that clear pretty quickly. What presents as a motivation block is often rooted in identity. What presents as a relationship pattern is often rooted in self worth. The chart just shows you where to actually look.

  7. 7. When someone is trying to understand their love life more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

The relationship axis, the first and seventh house, is where I start. The first house is you, how you show up, how you're seen. The seventh house and the descendant is what you need from a partner and what you're drawn to, often without fully understanding why. Looking at both together tells you a lot about the dynamic someone tends to create in relationships and the patterns that keep repeating.

When someone wants to go deeper I look at synastry and composite charts. Synastry shows how two people's charts interact with each other. Composite shows the unique energy they create together as a unit. That's where you can really see what a connection is built on and what it's asking of both people. It's usually a lot more clarifying than people expect.

  8. 8. When someone is trying to understand their career life or work/ purpose more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

The North and South nodes combined with the Midheaven are where I start for career and purpose work. The South node shows you what you keep defaulting to, the North node shows you where you're actually being called, and the Midheaven gives you the container for how that wants to show up in the world. Together they usually paint a pretty undeniable picture.

Saturn and Chiron are the ones I watch closely because when there's something unresolved there it tends to quietly cap how far someone lets themselves go professionally. My own Saturn return took everything apart before it made any sense. That's usually what it takes. The career stuff in a chart is rarely just about ambition or strategy. It's about what someone believes they're actually allowed to have.

  9. 9. What’s one small but meaningful practice or reflection you’d recommend people try based on their natal chart or reading?

The practice I come back to most, and the one I recommend most often, is working with the moon cycles. Full moon for releasing, new moon for setting intentions. I did this for years before I understood any of the technical astrology behind it, just intuitively, because it gave me a check in point every two weeks and something to be honest with myself about. Once you start learning your chart you can get more specific, finding which house the new moon is landing in and focusing your intentions around that area of life. That's where the awareness and intentionality behind it can make manifestation so much more precise.

  10. 10. What are your favorite decks + resources that you think people should know about?

There are great resources out there for understanding your chart and I do recommend books like The Complete Book of Astrology and Astrology for Yourself for anyone just starting out. But at the end of the day the work lives in the physical and energetic body. Simply taking time to be in your body with no distractions, whether that's a foam rolling sesh, gentle movement, or just laying down and noticing where you're holding tension, is one of the most powerful things you can do alongside your chart work. That awareness is where energetic blocks actually start to shift. I use the Midnight Magic oracle deck in sessions for clarification, bridging what the chart is showing with what the body is confirming. I'm also putting together a grounding video on YouTube for anyone who wants a place to start with this.
