Wellness guide offering meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, Reiki, and tarot readings to help clients reconnect with the present moment and find calm through embodied practice.

About Me

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a wellness guide who helps individuals and organizations slow down and reconnect with the present moment.

Through meditation, breathwork, sound therapy, Reiki, and tarot, I support people in accessing their bodies to ease their minds. I design and facilitate wellness experiences—including retreats, events, group sessions, and one-on-one offerings—for workplaces, private clients, and special events.

My tarot practice is informed by years of study and intuition, drawing inspiration from both classic and contemporary decks, including The Wizard of Oz Tarot and Intuitive Night Goddess by Linzi Silverman.

Q&A with Lauren Anne Mooney

  1. 1. Tell us a bit about you and your practice.

I empower my clients with practical, magical and powerful practices that unlock their own healing abilities. My unique blend of sound therapy, reiki, breathwork and tarot combine for an experience that leaves you grounded, spacious and free in your body, mind and spirit.

  2. 2. What moment or realization made astrology and/or tarot “click” for you in a real, lived way?

When I took my friend Linzi Silverman’s class Intuitive Tarot, it really gave me the power (and hopefully in turn I give others the power) to trust my own intuition when it comes to the cards, the astrology, etc. For example, a client may notice something in the imagery of a card that helps something click for them. And I want to empower that vs. someone thinking I have all the answers. We’re both tuning into the power of the present moment, slowing down, and noticing. And that is a magical conversation.

  3. 3. What’s something most people misunderstand about astrology and/or tarot that you’re always gently correcting?

I think most people think tarot and/or astrology is for predicting what’s next. But really it’s more of a snapshot of what is here now. And like looking at your life via a kaleidoscope - gives you alternate pathways you may not have realized before. As I like to say during readings: “this is the time, this is the hour, these are the cards, and YOU have the power.”

  4. 4. Tell us your thoughts on the astrology of 2026 and how it’s likely showing up in people’s everyday lives right now.

I’m personally not an astrology professional, but I would say that what lots of people are already saying about the Lunar New Year - that we’re exiting the year of the Snake which may have included lots of shedding & transformation, and entering into the year of the Horse which is more forward momentum, and quickness feels true in my body right now.

  5. 5. What’s a recurring life theme you see in your readings right now (love, career pivots, endings, rebirth, boundaries), and how do you help people work with it instead of resisting it?

Time and time again my work seems to be within the realm of boundaries. People tend to think that boundaries means having to be confrontational. But they can be so freeing and playful, or even something symbolic and a spell, where you stand in a circle of salt, and reclaim only your own energy, letting anyone else’s energies wash away. You can imagine the circle, or really do it. I also put salt in the corners of people’s homes when I do space clearings & blessings.

  6. 6. When someone comes to you feeling stuck, what part of the chart do you look at first and why? If you do tarot or another practice, tell us about your process for this.

Generally most people feel stuck in some way, especially if they’re coming for a one off session vs. regular check ins. I find something that helps with this is taking some time in the beginning to tune in/meditate together. That way we can get to the source of some stuck energies without having to get activated with words & reactions right away.

  7. 7. When someone is trying to understand their love life more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

As cheesy as it may sound, loving yourself first as an ongoing process, dating yourself, being into your favorite bands, clothes, etc. for yourself is so key. That energy calls in a more aligned partner.

  8. 8. When someone is trying to understand their career life or work/ purpose more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?

I think this in particular, and in my own experience seeing various healing practitioners in my life ~ is something that’s helped out greatly by slowing down and tuning in. At the risk of sounding repetitive, slowing down is so key, especially since it’s so contrary to what most of the world/jobs/partners/ are telling us/wanting us to do.

  9. 9. What’s one small but meaningful practice or reflection you’d recommend people try based on their natal chart or reading?

I tend to give people simple breathwork, vocal toning, or other types of exercises as a takeaway. One breath practice I really love from my colleague Jennifer Patterson’s book the Power of Breathwork, is pursed lip breath. Basically you’re pursing your lips to let out very long exhales, and it naturally begins to deepen your inhales via your nose. I find the simplest practices, done with intention, are the most powerful.

  10. 10. What are your favorite decks + resources that you think people should know about?

I love the deck I use most often, the Intuitive Night Goddess, partly because it’s all feminine figures, and feels so spacious and gorgeous. For reading tarot for yourself, and others for fun, or professionally I would say it’s key to find a deck that really speaks to you.
