Aurorah Yarberry
Based in Pending
Astrologer and writer offering practical Western astrology insights, using lunar cycles and historical patterns to guide personal growth and mindful decision-making.
About Me
I am an artist, writer, and producer who has been a dedicated student of Western astrology since 2008, bringing my knowledge to life through my podcast, Blood Moon Milk, launched in 2018. Unlike many astrologers, I am known for my refusal to write conventional horoscopes. Instead, I offer a fresh perspective through my daily email newsletter, The Daily Dose. In it, I distill years of astrological wisdom into digestible insights, helping readers stay attuned to cosmic energies before they unfold, designed to be read in the morning over coffee.
Western astrologers have been observing both the skies and human behavior for thousands of years and have left archival data of their observations. This data is based on observed events during cyclical planetary movements that have been cataloged since the Phoenician times. Today, astrologers can use historical data to give predictions based on historical events paired with planetary positions to help divine the future before it unfolds. But I understand that astrology is more than just predictions; it’s a powerful tool for personal growth.
I champion the subtle benefits of using lunar cycles as a guide for mindfulness, meditation, and manifestation. By aligning with the moon’s phases, my approach encourages individuals to set goals, remain flexible and resilient in the face of challenges, and urges my audience to seize opportunities with a heightened awareness of their consciousness when they arise. I adapt ancient astrological knowledge from the esoteric into a practical, down-to-earth advantage for everyday life. I believe this pause for reflection is meaningful globally, as a more mindful world is a more peaceful world with more opportunities for abundance for all.

Q&A with Aurorah Yarberry
1. Tell us a bit about you and your practice.
Aurorah has immersed herself in astrology since 2008. In 2018, she launched the Blood Moon Milk podcast, weaving together music, mythology, and astrology to create a vibrant resource for mindfulness, meditation, and manifestation. In her one-on-one sessions, she draws from the Western astrological tradition, treating natal charts and current transits as mirrors for self-reflection rather than rigid forecasts. Her approach centers on cultivating awareness, emotional balance, and purposeful choices, guiding clients to recognize the patterns shaping their lives without resorting to fear or fatalism.
Rather than offering quick answers, Aurorah creates a thoughtful, grounded container where clients can explore identity, relationships, career transitions, and personal growth through the lens of planetary cycles. She integrates lunar phases, major transits, and natal chart dynamics to support clarity and resilience, encouraging clients to move with life’s rhythms rather than resist them. At its core, her practice treats astrology as a contemplative discipline, one that strengthens agency, sharpens self-knowledge, and fosters a more mindful relationship with time and change.
2. What moment or realization made astrology and/or tarot “click” for you in a real, lived way?
When I started paying attention to things like Mercury Retrograde things started to make more sense. Then when my Saturn return rolled around it started to really click.
3. What’s something most people misunderstand about astrology and/or tarot that you’re always gently correcting?
You're more than just your sun sign! Even your big 3 only offer a narrow glimpse into your astrological wiring. It's truly the whole natal chart picture coming together when things begin to unlock real insight and growth opportunities.
4. Tell us your thoughts on the astrology of 2026 and how it’s likely showing up in people’s everyday lives right now.
2026 is going to be a huge year of incredible changes, and we have the ability to make those changes long lasting and positive ones, but it might not exactly be a cake walk in the process, so stay hydrated, and get a good nights rest!
5. What’s a recurring life theme you see in your readings right now (love, career pivots, endings, rebirth, boundaries), and how do you help people work with it instead of resisting it?
Uncertainty is a huge theme currently. To help with this unease, I help people focus on areas in their life where they have agency, and explore from there. Even if it's just simple breath work at first, we all have some degree of agency. We have to consciously shift from things happening to us to being responsible for the things we create, and then the real magic happens!
6. When someone comes to you feeling stuck, what part of the chart do you look at first and why? If you do tarot or another practice, tell us about your process for this.
I look at where Saturn or Pluto are currently sitting in a persons transits. This can help us to unpack the situation bit by bit.
7. When someone is trying to understand their love life more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?
I love to look at the relationship between Venus and Mars in the natal chart. What are the cosmic lovers saying and doing? What house are they in? What sign? This gives us a starting point. Every chart is unique.
8. When someone is trying to understand their career life or work/ purpose more deeply, where do you guide them to look first? What parts of the chart, energy, or inner patterns tend to reveal the most?
I look at the midheaven, the north node and the 6th house. These elements will start to give clues that you can work with to help your client.
9. What’s one small but meaningful practice or reflection you’d recommend people try based on their natal chart or reading?
Meditation! It's a game changer. I recommend doing it at least twice a month, on the new moon and on the full moon.
10. What are your favorite decks + resources that you think people should know about?
My favorite deck is the Inner Light Tarot deck by Serena Borsella, because every illustration is of a woman who is focusing on herself, and her own inner journey. It also has english and Spanish translations which is really great.
I also write the Daily Dose, a daily astrology email newsletter where I unpack the days most important astrological transits to help people on their mindfulness, meditation, and manifestation journey.
